The wonderful thing about designing and making all our Alan Hannah wedding dresses here in London is that our designer, Marguerite, can create a very individual collection designed using different embellishments and fabrics from all over the world.

This individual artistry is a rare thing in this world of mass production and generic design but our aim is to offer a very bespoke and unique idea which is what makes us different to most other wedding dresses design houses.
Each dress is made to order and the care and attention that goes into understanding every bride’s individual needs is what makes your dress something that is special and curated. We work closely with Cherished Wedding Boutique to understand what is needed, from special details and customisation up to a complete made to measure service if it is needed.

We know Jane and Emma personally and we would never work with someone who doesn’t share our integrity and commitment. The same goes for our seamstresses, some of whom have worked with us for 25 years.

Each seamstress is trained to a very high level and perhaps one of these ladies in the pictures will be solely responsible for making your wedding dress. Someone that we trust will craft the dress to perfection. Each dress then has the finishing touches made to it, fabric covered buttons and loops, beaded detailing and any final adjustments made before being checked by the designer and her assistants.

The dress never leaves our premises until it is delivered to the shop. We also choose to collaborate with likeminded artists and craftspeople who help to create Marguerite’s vision with beautiful beading and hand painting. Every dress with an Alan Hannah label is made with this specialist attention and is created in our own workrooms in London.
